Meet Dr. Samantha Leatherwood
A Caring & Experienced Dentist
Dr. Samantha Leatherwood is a proud Denton native, whose dental practice sits just down the street from her elementary school. With a personal connection to the community that runs deep, she finds joy in caring for the very neighborhood that shaped her early years. In a delightful twist of fate, her 5th-grade art teacher is now one of her patients, symbolizing the close-knit nature of her practice.
After graduating with honors from the Goldman School of Dental Medicine at Boston University, Dr. Leatherwood completed an intensive general practice residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. This experience expanded her understanding of dentistry beyond traditional boundaries, allowing her to approach patient care with a holistic perspective. Her passion lies in building meaningful relationships with patients, helping them restore not just their smiles, but their confidence and joy.
When not transforming lives in our office, Dr. Leatherwood enjoys exploring the world with her husband, taking weekend trips, and developing their land.
